Introducing the SLAM Society Mums and Kids Adventure. After many conversations, dreams, and lots of behind-the-scenes planning, I’m so excited to finally announce our very first SLAM Society Mums and Kids Getaway to Bali!

This unforgettable adventure is just around the corner, and I can’t wait to share all the details with you.

If you know me, you understand my passion for travel. Becoming a single mother at a young age never stopped me from exploring the world. My son was my original little travel buddy - from local getaways to international adventures, he was by my side for many of life’s most exciting moments. Now that he’s older, my daughter Makayla has taken over the role with enthusiasm. She’s been travelling with me since she was just 11 months old - our first trip together was from Sydney to San Francisco, and we haven't stopped exploring since! In her short four years, she’s already visited eight countries - and counting!

In recent years, I’ve organised some incredible women’s getaways with SLAM ( Shire Ladies and Mamas).

Along the way, I kept hearing the same thing from so many beautiful mums:

"I’d love to travel, but I don’t want to do it alone with the kids."

This inspired the creation of our special Mums and Kids getaway.

A Trip Designed for Connection

This getaway was born from a real need — mums craving adventure, but also community. It’s been thoughtfully designed for mums and their little ones to explore, connect, and unwind together. I still remember the nerves of travelling solo with my son when he was a baby, and I know many mums feel the same way. This trip is about changing that narrative - offering support, shared experiences, and joyful memories in a safe, relaxed, and fun setting.

We’re heading to the lively Seminyak to stay at Montigo Resort - a stunning five-star escape designed with both mums and kids in mind. With multiple pools, an incredible kids’ club, and babysitting services, it’s the perfect place to unwind while your little ones are entertained.

While your little ones are engaging in fun activities, you can indulge in pampering or connect with like-minded women.

I love building sandcastles, but after a few hours, I crave a margarita and some adult conversation. This trip perfectly balances fun and relaxation. 😄
